Haiti Relief Efforts:  Beware of Scams, Support Legitimate Organizations that are well know, Locate Family and Friends, Lost and Found
USCoast.Net, has over the  years, pulled their site down in order to assist those in need, from Hurricane Mitch in October 1998 to Hurricane Isabel in September 2003; and we've participated in local fundraisers from the Chesapeake Bay to Coastal South Carolina.  If we all would "Pay It Forward" more often, we could do more to help others less fortunate than ourselves.

We ask that everyone "Beware of Scams".  Only contact organizations that are well know. As to telemarketers, say, "Thank you but no thank you."  Do not hesitate to contact your local law enforcement when you think there may be a scam...

Below is a list of Organizations that you may want to contact in regards to the Haiti Relief Effort, search for relatives, visit the State Department Website, obtain updated, news from various locations and more....
